A Unified Thread Plug Gauge is a precision measuring tool used to verify that internal (female) threads, such as those in nuts or tapped holes, meet the standards of the Unified Thread Standard (UTS). It features two ends, a "GO" end that must screw in completely and smoothly, and a "NO-GO" end that should not be able to screw in more than two turns, confirming the thread is within the specified tolerance and not undersized or oversized.
